Unique made in Italy piece belongs to the “Roses” cycle: a really spontaneous cycle, started with a commissioned panting for a couple celebrating a second marriage; Stefania Zanutta chose a symbol respectful of such an event: the knot. But the canvas and her art decided for her: that plaster “knot”, shaped with so much care, didn’t want to be a simple knot and decided to go beyond, to get the artist’s initial idea, showing itself to be a perfect rose.
