Where do these particular roses come from?
They were born when I had a request from a client
for the execution of a panting for a couple celebrating a second marriage.
I chose a symbol respectful of such an event: the knot.
But again the canvas and my art decided for me:
that plaster “knot”, shaped with so much care, didn’t want to be a simple knot
and decide to go beyond, to get my initial idea, showing itself to be a perfect rose.

This painting was commissioned by a fantastic couple very keen on my roses: Eleganza di Sentimenti, with its pureness, its grace, its sophistacation represents their wonderful family.
